Overview: Created the site and photographic content for Professional Opticians, a small, independently owned optical shop on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Managed the launch, including domain purchase and hosting. Continue to work with client on content updates.

Overview: Created a monthly/weekly calendar for 2009. Printed, trimmed and compiled the pages. Bound the book and created the cover using designer fabric.

Project: Materials Science Education Proceedings Journal

Overview: Designed a journal for the proceedings of a National Science Foundation workshop. Worked with client to create a clean design for black-and-white production with heavy text and graphics. Prepped all files for printer.

Overview: Created a logo that was used for marketing materials, business cards and signage for a new boutique hotel in Quito, Ecuador. Worked with the client to combine an aesthetic that was modern and colonial.

Overview: Redesigned the logo for the cafe to target a more sophisticated audience for a small cafe located in Quito, Ecuador.

Overview: Created four different designs
for a baby shower that was coed and all ages.
The couple wanted to keep things relaxed and
interesting, so I worked on gender-neutral
designs that were playful without being overly
feminine.

Project: Advertising Campaign for 20 Under 40

Overview: Designed an ad campaign that went to magazine subscribers nationwide. The campaign was a call for entries for an award focusing on young talent in the newspaper industry.

Overview: Designed and copy edited the full-color, glossy magazine that went to all Association members in 2009. Magazine covered all vendors in the industry.

Overview: Created a Flash-based journal of travels. Each entry had writing from time abroad and many had a slideshow of images accompanying the text.
